I am a senior Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist covering the South Glos and North Bristol area. I am married with three grown up children. I first became interested in hypnotherapy when I visited a local hypnotherapist regarding weight loss some years ago and was absolutely blown away by the results that were achieved. I was inspired to find out more, and after much research, I decided to take a change in direction and train to become a hypnotherapist myself.

I am an experienced Counsellor and I offer a confidential and calm environment in which you can feel comfortable and safe to be yourself. I use a person-centered approach, this approach is based on the belief that we are all individual experts on our true selves.
It follows that each of us has the ability to live our life to our full potential. The beauty of this approach is that we can adjust the way it works to fit your needs. I work with adults and young people from the age of 14 years upwards.
I am an integrative counsellor with a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling; what 'integrative' means can vary greatly from counsellor to counsellor but, essentially, an integrative approach involves drawing upon several different therapeutic theories in my work with individuals. The core of my therapeutic practice uses ideas from existential psychotherapy, person-centred counselling and cognitive-behavioural therapy.
