Dr Tara Collinge has been a Consultant Psychiatrist since 2004. She studied Medicine at University College London and after qualifying as a doctor in 1995, she undertook her basic psychiatric training at University College Hospital, London. She completed her higher training on the Charing Cross Hospital Rotation in London and attained a dual CCST in adult and old age psychiatry. Dr Collinge’s research interests and publications have addressed risk factors for suicide.
Dr Collinge was first appointed as a Consultant Psychiatrist in London (Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust) and after working for over 20 years in the NHS, she decided to build up what is now a successful private practice.
Dr Collinge has extensive experience in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of mental health problems as outlined on her website. She has a clinical interest in the diagnosis and management of Adult ADHD and acted as the Lead Consultant for the ADHD service in her last NHS post.
