The Old Rectory Clinic - Iron Acton, Bristol
Therapist profile
As a counsellor, I aim to provide a space for you to feel heard and accepted, working collaboratively to find ways to help with emotional difficulties and challenges, facilitate insight into behaviours and help to support change and growth. I am an integrative counsellor, meaning I use an amalgamation of counselling techniques, tailored for the individual client, believing you and your needs are unique. A humanistic, person-centred approach is at the core of my practice, placing you, your needs and values at the heart of our therapeutic relationship.
During our sessions the pace and how you wish to talk about your life is up to you and we will talk about your feelings, thoughts, bodily sensations and responses in relation to content you bring. Counselling can be a valuable space to give time and thought to yourself, focusing on your needs. I work with empathy and understanding, offering a non-judgemental space to facilitate this.
