Dr Rachel Gillibrand
The Old Rectory Clinic - Iron Acton, Bristol
Therapist profile
I am an experienced psychologist and hypnotherapist and I work with both children (6yrs - 18yrs) and adults. I am happy to work on a range of concerns such as anger management, anxiety (general anxiety or anxiety worsened by school or work), poor sleeping patterns, low mood and depression, and also to help resolve personal trauma. With adults the approach I use helps individuals to find a way to live their best life, uncovering their strengths and abilities and helping them to be the very best version of themselves they can be. Hypnotherapy can be added to this approach to help make these changes happen in a relaxed and powerful way.
When working with children and young people I follow recognised cognitive and behavioural techniques with a positive psychology approach uncovering the child's strengths and abilities, helping them to develop coping strategies when times are hard and helping them become the very best version of themselves. I am registered with all the main private healthcare providers
