I am an experienced Clinical Psychologist who provides specialist psychological assessments and therapy for adolescents and adults who have distressing mental or physical health symptoms. I have additional specific expertise in working with adolescents and adults who are struggling with Chronic Pain.

I work alongside individuals who have anxiety, panic, depression, grief and post trauma symptoms. I teach strategies that support people to manage or overcome their symptoms and to return to a quality of life.I have lots of experience in working with people who are living with Chronic Pain, including: fibromyalgia, back pain, migraine, musculoskeletal pain, neurological conditions, CRPS, gastroenterological conditions and post viral / chronic fatigue. I provide a comprehensive, personalised pain management programme of strategies and coping approaches, again with the aim of improving quality of life.I completed Doctorate in Clinical Psychology training in 2006 and then additional training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) for complex mental and physical health conditions.I gained valuable experience when working in a range of mental and physical health services and I have 10 years experience in leading interdisciplinary teams working with adolescent and adult rehabilitation groups in a National Tertiary Chronic Pain NHS service.
