What is Sound Therapy?

Sound therapy is a form of ancient holistic healing and there is a belief that every cell in our body has its own vibrational frequency. In good health, when we are correctly tuned into the vibrations of our body, our mind and soul are in perfect harmony. However, when we become stressed or unwell that balance of vibrational frequency can become out of tune. Sound therapists deconstruct music into pure sound by using gongs or singing bowls, harnessing the knowledge that sound can have a powerful effect on our emotions and help to rebalance the body’s energy and bring peace to our lives. Our Sound Therapy classes are held monthly on the New Moon on a Sunday evening, 7pm - 8.30pm and are £15 per class.

I am a Sound Therapist and Sound Ceremonialist using Sound Therapy to support you to tune your mind, body and soul in harmony. At the same time as joining a holistic centre as a volunteer eight years ago, I also came across a singing bowl relaxation CD, which led me into buying my first Himalayan Singing Bowl. Since then I have trained in Hypnotherapy, Reiki and Sound Therapy.
