Rob qualified as a Counsellor and Hypnotherapist in 2014 and offers a number of ‘person centered’ and integrative therapies using a range of counselling methods. Following 37 years in a different career Rob made a decision to retrain as a counsellor as he had cause to experience first hand the difference counselling can make to a person. He wanted to be part of a valuable and fulfilling profession.
He never looked back and is now passionate about supporting people to make life change through effective Counselling and/or Hypnotherapy. As well as providing one to one counselling sessions Rob has worked in a residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre providing specialist support for people experiencing addiction, provided targeted staff teaching sessions for professional organisations and has facilitated deep relaxation and mindfulness group sessions.
Rob specialises in working with adults and is trained to help with problems such as depression, anxiety, phobias, low self-esteem, social anxiety, selfharm, anger, eating disorders and behavioural difficulties. He has extensive experience of supporting people with relationship difficulties and has gained a reputation as an effective and compassionate couples counsellor.

I am a senior Clinical Hypnotherapist covering the South Glos and North Bristol area. I am married with three grown up children. I first became interested in hypnotherapy when I visited a local hypnotherapist regarding weight loss some years ago and was absolutely blown away by the results that were achieved. I was inspired to find out more, and after much research, I decided to take a change in direction and train to become a hypnotherapist myself.
