My name is Kayleigh Knight and I am a Counsellor and Specialist Youth Mentor working in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. I have over ten years' experience in providing support through a range of life's challenges, from ongoing personal struggles to sudden situations of crisis. I believe in providing a supportive, non-judgemental space to allow you to explore and navigate through any difficulties you may be facing. Counselling can also create a time for you to get to know yourself better, reflect on personal experiences and work out the best way forward for you.
I work in a person-centred integrative way, drawing on a range of theoretical methods and techniques to tailor each session to your individual needs. I believe in the benefits of working creatively to explore thoughts and feelings and my sessions can provide a safe space for this. I have worked with clients from a wide range of backgrounds and have a special interest in working with young people aged 14 years and above and those who have experienced domestic abuse. I hold an FdSc in Counselling from the University of Gloucestershire and I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
The Old Rectory Clinic in Iron Acton is conveniently located with easy access from Yate, Chipping Sodbury, Frampton Cotterell, Coalpit Heath, Winterbourne, Westerleigh, Thornbury and the surrounding areas.
