Q1 Answer - B Finger Pressure
Shiatsu Practitioners apply gentle pressure to meridians or pathways that run throughout the body. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) this dissolves blockages, allowing energy to flow and health to be maintained. TCM is thousands of years old and Shiatsu uses the same medical diagnosis as a traditional acupuncturist uses. Your Shiatsu practitioner treats your body holistically or as a whole and uses many indicators to help build a TCM diagnosis for your treatment plan.
Q2 Answer – C In most cases shiatsu is carried out on a very comfortable futon on the floor. However if the person is unable to get down onto the Futon or has a mobility issue Shiatsu can be carried out in a seated position or on a raised massage table.
Q4 Answer – E All of the Above. Shiatsu treatment that can help a large number of health issues including insomnia, back pain, headaches and Injury. It can also assist with stress, digestion, menstrual issues and many more. As well as these wonderful health benefits Shiatsu is a completely natural and extremely relaxing treatment and you will leave your session feeling rejuvenated.
If you would like to know how you could benefit from Shiatsu, please contact our Shiatsu Practitioner Anna Pudaruth on 07487 511516 or email [email protected] Anna will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
